Sheep May Safely Drink

On rejuvenation.

Yesterday was beautiful with sunshine on snow and clear skies overhead. The bright colors lifted our spirits.

I spent the morning inside, sorting through paperwork. When my brain could no longer fathom numbers, I bundled up and drove to the farm, feeding and watering the animals in the barn and pasture.

Stella and Milis visited the water tanks for refreshment. Light rippled on the water. Milis sniffed at my phone.

There is only so much time I can spend inside, and I was glad to be rejuvenated out in the pasture, just as Stella and Milis found refreshment from the water.

This Week on the Farm

Sadly, we lost a llama friend on Friday. Our brown-and-white llama passed away unexpectedly. She was an excellent guardian and is greatly missed.

Winter on the farm is known as “Meeting Season.” There are several state association gatherings we plan to attend, including the Indiana Christmas Tree Growers Association meeting at the end of this week. We’re looking forward to seeing fellow tree growers and learning more about the industry.

We are sold out of ground lamb and are nearly out of stew meat! Pick up yours before it’s gone! Reply to this email to let us know what cuts you would enjoy.
