On serious tasks.

The Shetlands and goats continue their takeover of a patch at the woods' edge. They've almost finished eating the weeds away from what will be a nice stand of trees.

Yesterday, I opened a new section for them. While I worked on setting up the new netting, the goats followed, chatting the entire time. A couple of opportunistic ewes lingered near me, scheming how to escape while my back was turned. 

But once I moved the netting away, the entire group rushed to the border of towering weeds. Munching filled the glade as they went about their serious and most important task: eating.
