Pumpkin Surprise
On autumn treats.

Jeff enjoys growing plants: perennials, pines, fruits, flowers. This summer, he scattered pumpkin seeds around our house.
He wasn’t sure if a harvest would emerge this fall as he’d planted a bit late, but Saturday, as I was walking by the vines that sprawl along the east side of the foundation, I found this nicely spherical pumpkin.
It seemed fitting because Friday, the first day of the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival, Jeff brought home a pumpkin cupcake with homemade cream and a tiny slice of pumpkin pie adorning the top. It was delicious.
As for this pumpkin, it will be delicious for the sheep, goats, and llamas.
After it is proudly displayed as a fall decoration, of course.
Thanks for Reading!
And I hope you feel refreshed and rejuvenated for the week ahead with this moment preserved in picture and prose. Consider:
