Glowing Grass

On using resources well.

It's been raining! The storm cloud in the background is one of many that have moved through. Close lightning strikes have meant I've been unable to move the netting some nights, but overall, I’ve felt extremely thankful for the rain.

This mix of clover and grass glowed from recent precipitation. I strung a fence around it and let the sheep gallop into the growth, where they gobbled the plants.

These are not foods I can eat, but the sheep, goats, and llamas love them and turn the plants into meat, fiber, and milk. Now that's a wise use of resources!

At last, it's time for the Shetland show at the State Fair! Stop by the sheep barn if you're there later in the week.

Stella and Luna have been training and enjoying the frequent snack breaks they get while on their walks.
