A Walk
On the approach of spring.
On a walk through the woods last week, snow revealed the road. I ambled through, admiring the sunshine on the trees, last fall's leaves peeking through the path. It was the type of day when I could almost hear Spring.
Maple syrup season is near, and that is a sweet thought.
Thanks for Reading!
And I hope you feel refreshed and rejuvenated for the week ahead with this moment preserved in picture and prose. Consider:

This Week on the Farm
This is Dandelion the Shropshire getting shorn. At one point, she started eating my hair!
All of the replacement ewes were shorn yesterday. Since they're under one year old, their fleeces are still considered lamb's wool, which is extra soft and warm. This week, I plan to skirt (remove debris and dirty wool) the fleeces before they are sold or exhibited at a local wool show.
